Carbon reduction changes your own processes and consumption. Compensation addresses residual emissions separately. Choosing an offer is not evidence that its carbon effect has occurred.
Discuss a pilotOffers and customer decisions
CarbonOut includes a partial Marketplace implementation with private tenant offers, approvals, validity, source revisions and ranking records. A complete user interface and context-aware AI advice remain development stages.
Recognition requires evidence
Forecasts remain provisional. Effective recognition requires suitable approved implementation or retirement evidence and protection against double counting. Internal evidence checks do not authenticate an external registry.
Platform
Website languages and platform languages are separate. The platform currently has a German interface; additional application languages are planned. Language selection does not change the applicable methodology or legal framework.
Does a forecast count as an achieved reduction?
No. Planned impact is provisional. Implementation and appropriate approved evidence are required before effective recognition; the chosen calculation method remains decisive.
