Budgets and evidenced impact
Annual planning and the start of carbon impact remain separate. Approval history and correction revisions retain context. Savings already reflected in lower consumption must not be deducted twice.
Platform
Website languages and platform languages are separate. The platform currently has a German interface; additional application languages are planned. Language selection does not change the applicable methodology or legal framework.
Does a forecast count as an achieved reduction?
No. Planned impact is provisional. Implementation and appropriate approved evidence are required before effective recognition; the chosen calculation method remains decisive.

Do you provide emission reduction or carbon compensation solutions? Apply to have your offering reviewed for inclusion in CarbonOut. Approved offers can be suggested in suitable customer situations; customers remain free to choose.
Submit your solution
Describe your company, solution, target applications, availability and contact details. Provide technical data, sources and relevant evidence.
Technical review
We review suitability, data quality, boundaries and evidence requirements. Reduction and compensation are assessed separately.
Agree the collaboration
The scope, required data, responsibilities and conditions for inclusion are agreed individually before activation.
Suggest where appropriate
After approval, an offer can be considered for suitable applications. Inclusion does not guarantee a recommendation, an order or recognition of a carbon effect.
Initial applications are made by email. Do not send confidential documents until the appropriate exchange process has been agreed. Selection or a forecast alone does not establish an achieved or recognised carbon effect.
